are a collection of poetry
I wrote in memory of My son Joshua
some of them were written
during the early dark
days of grief
when reality was hard to live with
and the depression caused by the all
consuming grief threatened to swallow me.
I found a way to write and through these writings
found my way through a lot of pain and confusion
Like a butterfly in flight,
you have graced my life.
Like the fawn leaves it footprints,
in newly fallen snow .
You have left your footprints all over my heart
